(Funk)shun Dakoldis N. Coleman, is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Audio recording and Production at Los Angeles Film School. I've had a passion for music since early childhood, born in a project community where everything from Blues to Funkadelic, basically everything with rhythm or Soul was part of everyday life. Aqua Boogie being the first song I fell in love with, which is also why I chose the name Funkshun . Something about that groove made people want to get up and dance. When the late 70's early 80's rolled around, the Sugar hill gang, Grandmaster flash , Curtis Blow, you know the first rapp era, took me on a journey through the break dancing scene, performing in talent shows, later evolving into a more creative talent in the late 80's through the early 90's, composing tracks, and performing in shows either playing dope bass lines live with inspiring local artist and groups, TGP (Thuralson Guard Possie) and the F.L.O.C M.O.B. later leading to being part of my own crew G.M.P. (Geddo Media Productions) and the Assault unit, opening for variousmainstream/commercial artist, Currently networking with artist locally and abroad.
