I wrote every song. Every lyric. If it didn’t feel right, I trashed it. Honestly, I have more unfinished songs than finished ones — and I love that. I love writing. My singing voice shown on Playlist JVD All of Me. Writing stories, poems, and now songs has always been part of me. Looking back, I realize I’ve been creating since I was about 10—singing my own melodies and making up lyrics without thinking twice. I rarely wrote them down, but I did it constantly.
