Runtime Error in the Ego

(Verse 1 — The Legacy Code) Sitting in a café in Munich, ordering coffee in German, But my mind is stuck in a loop, decoding an ancient sermon. Back in the school days, writing logic in Pascal, Rigid rules, begin and end, keeping my fears in a cell. Strict variables, type mismatch if you step out of line— That was the early blueprint of this anxious mind of mine. My Superego was compiled in that old-school syntax tree, Telling me who I am, defining what is "Me and Not Me." Now I try to free() the memory, try to clear out the cache, But the childhood infrastructure is waiting to crash. (Chorus — The Architecture of Ego) It’s a Runtime Error in the core of my Ego! An endless loop where my shadow won't let me go! Ich versuche zu fliehen (I try to flee), changing the language and space, But the Mother-Object's template is a code I can't erase! I open my MacBook, switching to Python tonight, Looking for dynamic answers in the neon city light. The analyst says: "Your resistance is just legacy code," Running in the background while I'm out on the road! (Verse 2 — The Python Refactoring) while True: I travel, changing zip codes and scripts, Translating my trauma through a polyglot's lips. In Python, it’s cleaner, no more begin and end on the screen, Just beautiful indentation, whitespace in between. I try to try-except the pain, catch the transference fast, Isolate the variables that tie me to the past. But the unconscious mind doesn't care about the syntax clean, It runs like a low-level virus inside the machine. A memory leak from a language I thought I forgot, IndexError: list index out of range in my subconscious plot. (Bridge — Deep Psychoanalytic Debugging) (The heavy drums drop out. Only a pulsing low-end synth and the sound of typing on an Apple Magic Keyboard) Je parle français, English, Deutsch... but the primary language is drive. Libido and Id fighting just to keep the system alive. The analyst leans back, looking through the screen: "You are projecting your code onto the spaces between. You can change your environment, your IDE, your speech... But the root directory is something a compiler can't reach." System Shutdown initialized. Refactoring failed. (Guitar/Synth Drop Solo — Outro) (A massive digital drop hits—heavy, chopped electronic beats mixed with a distorted synth solo. Vocal cuts glitch and repeat: "The system is learning... return self... The system is learning...") It's an open script... written in the Silicon dust. From school-bench Pascal to Python we trust. Closing the lid of the MacBook. Locking the screen. But the repressed always returns... in the space in between. (Fade out on a crisp macOS lock sound dissolving into deep, echoing reverb)
