[Verse 1] I step in the shop with the top held low Hands on the tray, let the whole place know Warm little dome with the split on top Golden crust, one bite, then it won't stop Jam in the middle, cream on the edge One wrong move and you lose your head Tea in the cup, but I want that spread Got crumbs on my shirt and a grin like a threat [Pre-Chorus] Round and proud Hear that crack? Sugar dust On the back Stack them up Watch them shake One for me Then the plate [Chorus] Scone smash, scone smash Break that crust fast Scone smash, scone smash Jam in the gap, yeah Scone smash, scone smash Cream in the middle Scone smash, scone smash One bite, you tremble [Verse 2] Cornish style or the plain one? Both get split when the day done Knife goes in, that's a clean cut Not a crumb left, that's a mean touch Old mum said "son, don't play with it" But I came back for the tray of it Tea with the edge of a Sunday vibe Still get hype when the scone arrive [Pre-Chorus] Round and proud Hear that crack? Sugar dust On the back Stack them up Watch them shake One for me Then the plate [Chorus] Scone smash, scone smash Break that crust fast Scone smash, scone smash Jam in the gap, yeah Scone smash, scone smash Cream in the middle Scone smash, scone smash One bite, you tremble [Bridge] Whole thing snaps when I lean in close Butter on the knife and I toast that toast Ring on the tray, let the room go hush Then I take mine and I eat that plush [Chorus] Scone smash, scone smash Break that crust fast Scone smash, scone smash Jam in the gap, yeah Scone smash, scone smash Cream in the middle Scone smash, scone smash One bite, you tremble
