I’ve watched the years roll heavy and proud, Seen storms try to tear good people down, But every time the sky turned dark, I saw two shadows stand their ground. Side by side through dust and rain, Two hearts moving as one flame, You never waited for a call, You showed the world what love became. Together where the road gets rough, Together when the miles run long, Two sets of hands that never quit, Two steady hearts forever strong. Across this land and oceans wide, You carried hope from town to town, Halfway ‘round this spinning world, Lifting broken spirits off the ground. They may never see the sleepless nights, Or all the comfort you gave away, But I’ve watched every sacrifice, Every step along the way. You’re the fire in the cold night air, The steady hands when hope runs dry, Two souls moving everywhere, Never asking reason why. You build, you lift, you sacrifice, Turning trials into climb— To the world you’re strength and mercy… To me, you’re legends of time. We worked together, shoulder to shoulder, On things most folks would never try, You broke the limits, raised the bar, With pride no praise could satisfy. Brick by brick and mile by mile, Patience carved in calloused hands, Every project built with heart, Leaving hope across this land. You gave your time when time was scarce, You gave your strength when days were long, You gave your love without a cost, And somehow kept your spirits strong. You gave me more than words can say, More than thanks could ever show, You made our lives far richer still, Than you will ever truly know. Now a brand-new road is calling you, And I can feel the distance grow, Part of me will miss you near, But my pride will overflow. Go chase the skies that call your names, Go help the hearts you’re meant to find, This world is brighter where you stand— And it needs your light to shine. You’re the light beyond the fear, The helping hands that never rest, Two hearts traveling far and wide, Giving every soul your best. If this whole world had more like you, We’d leave a brighter road behind— To the world you’re hope and future… To me, you’re legends of time. Go chase the road that calls your names, Go write the chapters yet to shine, No distance takes away your story— You’ll always be my pride… LEGENDS OF TIME!
