Yeah… Everyone says they’ll be there… Till life tests it. Some walk in like they never leave Big words, big plans, what you wanna believe But time shows truth in quiet ways Who stands firm… and who just fades I’ve seen people come and go Some real close, some I barely know Some left scars, some left space Some just vanished without a trace I used to chase what walked away… Now I see it clearer every day Some walk out, some fade away Some come back in a different face And I don’t chase what’s meant to roam… I just hold the ones that stay No loud words, no need to prove Just quiet actions that follow through And when the world don’t feel okay… I lean on the ones that stay Kids grow up but they still come close Not perfect love, but it means the most Dogs pass on but the feeling stays In different forms, in different ways Friends drift off, some come back round Some get lost, some get found And I don’t judge how people move I just watch what they actually do Loyalty ain’t loud… It’s consistent It don’t shout… It just listens And when everything else falls away..... It’s still there Some walk out, some fade away Some come back but they don’t stay And I don’t fight what’s not for me… I let it go, I let it be But the ones that stand through everything Through the highs, the lows, the in-between That’s the truth I hold each day, Life’s built on the ones that stay Not everyone’s meant to stay… But the ones who are? You’ll never have to question it.
