Cerberus – Guardian of the Abyss [STTZ - Myths]

[Orchestral Prelude — dark strings, timpani, distant choir in minor harmony] (Spoken whisper, male voice) VERSE I In the kingdom where the torches die, And shadows crawl beneath the sky, A beast of dread, with triple cry, Guards the souls that cannot lie. His breath — a storm of molten air, His gaze — a curse none can bear, Chains of Styx around his heart, Forged in pain, torn apart. PRE-CHORUS Born of the mother of despair, Child of chaos, dark and rare, His howl tears heaven’s frail disguise, And freezes gods with mortal cries. CHORUS (Full Choir + Brass) Cerberus! Guardian of the abyss divine, Cerberus! The shadow’s teeth, the end of time. Stand between the damned and light, Eternal warden of endless night! VERSE II Through the valley where no sun is known, He walks upon a throne of bone. The blood of Titans stains his claws, He answers only Hades’ laws. When heroes came with mortal pride, He watched them burn, he watched them die. Their echoes linger, faint and deep, Beneath his lair — they learn to sleep. CHORUS (Expanded, Choir + Female Solo) Cerberus! Keeper of the gates below, Cerberus! In your eyes, the embers glow. Souls that wander shall not flee, Their doom is chained in destiny. BRIDGE (Choral Chant – Latin) “Custos portarum inferni, aeternus! Cerberus vigilat, ne animae evadant! Tenebris regnat, sub umbra regis mortis!” INSTRUMENTAL INTERLUDE — Orchestral + Choir Dialogue Choir (Heavenly voices): “Open the gates of mercy!” Choir (Infernal voices): “No mercy. No return.” VERSE III (Male Solo) Three heads, three hearts, one endless will, To guard, to punish, to devour still. The scent of fear, the taste of sin, He knows the guilt that lies within. When gods grow silent, mortals pray, But Cerberus hears — and turns away. For life and death, to him the same, He serves not glory, nor divine name. CHORUS (Massive, Full Orchestra and Choir) Cerberus! Eternal flame of the deep unknown, Cerberus! On the edge where souls are thrown. Beneath the world, your echoes cry, The gatekeeper that will never die! FINAL SECTION – “THE DESCENT” (grand, tragic) (Female choir solo over strings) “O hound of sorrow, o child of shade, Whose eyes the dawn of death has made... Rest not, for none may pass your throne, Until the last of stars has flown.” EPILOGUE – Fading Choir, Whispered Outro (Echoing in distance) Cerberus... Cerberus... Cerberus...
