[Verse] One house in town it stands alone Candy’s the prize but chills to the bone A skeleton rows in a creaky old boat The air’s so thick it grabs at your throat [Prechorus] A growl a bark a shadow near What’s creeping closer? Oh my dear [Chorus] Skeleton dog is barking at me Teeth like daggers oh can’t you see Candy waits but I don’t know how Should I turn back or face it now [Verse 2] The moonlight hits its hollow face Bones clattering it starts to pace The rowboat rocks with a haunting creak The skeleton’s grin begins to speak [Prechorus] "Step closer child if you dare But beware the beast out there" [Chorus] Skeleton dog is barking at me Eyes like fire it’s wild and free Candy waits but I don’t know how Should I turn back or face it now
