“Keep Your Head Up!” Created by Omar Rivera Colon Original Lyrics: Omar Rivera Colon Background Music: “Wayfare” by Luke Ferrell Keep your head up. You are not walking this road alone. When the weight gets heavy, When the night gets long, Jesus is still holding on. Some days come like thunder, No warning, no control. One call can change a lifetime, One loss can shake your soul. You try to gather every piece, Pretending you are strong. But you were never meant to carry Every broken thing alone. He knows rejection. He knows the tears. He knows what it means To walk through pain and fear. So when your heart says, “I can't do this anymore,” Remember Who is standing Right beside you in the storm. Give Him the worry. Give Him the weight. Give Him the questions You cannot explain. You don't have to know How this story will end. Jesus is here. Jesus is near. Keep your head up, You are not alone. When you can't find the strength, He will carry you home. You don't have to pick Every piece off the ground. Put your worries in His hands, He won't let you down. Keep your head up, Even when it gets tough. When you feel like you have nothing, Jesus will be enough. Through the fire, Through the flood, Through whatever comes Keep your head up. Jesus has you. Maybe they walked away. Maybe the plan fell through. Maybe you prayed a hundred prayers And don't know what else to do. Maybe you're smiling publicly While privately losing ground. Everybody hears your laughter, But Jesus hears the sound Of every prayer you couldn't finish, Every tear you tried to hide. Every night you fought your battle With nobody by your side. But nobody by your side Doesn't mean you're on your own. Christ walked into suffering So you'd never walk alone. Keep your head up, You are not alone. When you can't find the strength, He will carry you home. You don't have to pick Every piece off the ground. Put your worries in His hands, He won't let you down. Keep your head up, Even when it gets tough. Jesus will be enough. I need everybody with me! When I say “Keep Your,” You say “Head Up!” KEEP YOUR! HEAD UP! Head up! Head up! KEEP YOUR! HEAD UP! Keep your head up! A little louder! KEEP YOUR! HEAD UP! If you know Jesus got you, Let me hear you say KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! Jesus got you! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! JESUS GOT YOU! Left, right Still moving! One step Keep moving! Heart hurt Still beating! Christ lives Still leading! I may bend, But I won't break. I may cry, But I still have faith. I may fall, But I know His name. Jesus! He carried a cross. He understands weight. He knew rejection. He understands pain. He faced the darkness And walked out the grave. So tell me what trouble Is bigger than His name? No mountain. No heartbreak. No failure. No shame. Bring Him every fragment. Bring Him everything torn. The hands that hold creation Can hold your broken heart. You don't have to pick up the pieces. You don't have to carry it alone. Lay it down Every worry. Lay it down Every struggle. Lay it down Every fear. Jesus, Take it from here. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! You are not alone! When your knees get weak, He will carry you home! Put your worries in His hands, Watch Him turn it around! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! When the road gets rough! When you feel like you've got nothing, Jesus will be enough! Through the fire! He is with me! Through the valley! He is with me! Through the heartbreak! He is with me! HE IS WITH ME! KEEP YOUR! HEAD UP! KEEP YOUR! HEAD UP! Jesus got you! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! You don't have to hold The whole world together. Keep your head up. Jesus has you.
