Lost in the wilderness, thirst in my sentences Prayers feel brittle but faith still belligerent Compass is shattered, the path look indefinite Promise stay present though pressure get militant Sand in my mouth, every word taste mineral Heart feel divisible, doubts get habitual Enemy hissin’ like God isn’t listenin’ Scripture keep hittin’ me—sharp, unequivocal Built me a god out of comfort and benefits Called it my purpose, it wasn’t legitimate Golden calf habits, convenience my president Paid the full price when I bowed to the counterfeit Manna kept fallin’, I missed the significance Wanted the throne but rejected the disciplines God don’t escort ego into inheritance First He dismantle the false sense of innocence If He led me here, He ain’t leavin’ me If He broke me down, He’s rebuildin’ me This ain’t burial—this is seedin’ me Resurrection start where defeat would be Lost in the wilderness—still in His will Still under covenant, guarded and sealed Fire in front of me, cloud on my heels He don’t abandon—He authors the trial Lost in the wilderness, dust on my name Grace stay louder than hunger and shame I might be wanderin’, still I am claimed He always delivers us out of the wilderness Forty-day fasts in a microwave nation They want the crown, dodge sanctification Devil said “Jump,” prove the God you be claimin’ Christ said “Nah”—I don’t tempt preservation Word in my gut when the doubt start racin’ Every “what if” met with “It is written” If obedience cost me applause and placement I’ll pay it gladly—He honors submission Pressure expose what the praise kept hidden Valleys reveal who you serve when you’re livin’ Quiet don’t mean that the Shepherd ain’t listenin’ Silence is often His way of conditioning Delayed don’t mean denied—get it straight Resurrection only come after the grave If He don’t speak, I ain’t makin’ a play Faith don’t rush what obedience obeys I wasn’t lost… I was being led. Came out lean with a lion’s tone Came out clean, I don’t bleed the old Grave clothes ripped when the truth took hold Chains fell quiet when the lies got exposed This ain’t survival—this is refinement This ain’t punishment—this alignment Cross before crown, pain before assignment Death to the flesh, then the throne inaugurated If He fed tribes with no supply chain He can handle droughts in my bank and my brain Every delay was a mercy in frame He was shaping my call while reshaping my name Wilderness wasn’t the end of me It was God puttin’ death to the enemy What tried to break me became my testimony Now I don’t wander—I walk with authority Lost in the wilderness—never alone Every step ordered, even unknown What felt like exile was building a throne He always delivers—He always brings home Lost in the wilderness—lift up your eyes If He brought you here, He’s not done with your life What feels like drought is where faith multiplies He always delivers us out of the wilderness If you’re still in it— He’s still working. And if He brought you to it… He’s faithful enough To bring you through it.
