[Solo Guitar Riff] As most of you know, I have double vision by an accident at the age of 13. Father's Grace gave me the inner fortitude for overcoming adversities such as this. I've always stood firm against the things that were not safe in my own way to help my fellow human beings!! So when I got that designated driver card after my diagnosis I would have double vision, you bet your rear end I knew what I had no choice but to do!! I went to the main lawman in the county and I politely explained my particular situation!! He ponders my demeanor and then spoke about my presentation with all the seriousness of a much older person than my age as it was!! He decides to get his keys and leads me to his official vehicle to drive him for him to see my abilities!! He had me driving for around 3 hours and then said let's get back to the office and get you what you will have to take with you every time you drive. It wasn't even 2 days after getting my designated driver card that I would get my first job for the safety of the public. A friend of mine who I used to drink with before I quit, had just gotten a Mercury Monterey 2 door hard top with a 460 under the hood!! Just had bought it that day!! Big Nose John had to get some important things from the next town north in Polk County. I'm thinking about finding out what's really under the hood?? - So I asked Big Nose John if he wanted to know what he just bought?? Ya Know he just HAD TO KNOW!! We headed out to Frostproof back road where there was one hell of a straightaway!! Went around the first slow curve entrance to the south of the straightaway and brought that beauty to a full stop and looking at Big Nose John I said: "Git Redeee"!! Stomped the gas looking straight ahead waiting on the traction to catch!! Black Smoke in the rearview and a kick from the grabbing, we set forth with the power of that 460 kicking azz!! We got as much as 135 before the shimmies started in and my foot left that peddle an I letter coast on down in momentum on her own!! Having worked at a garage only 2 years prior, I learned many things about vehicles and how certain things within the own workings could adversely affect functionality. Being an unknown about the adjustments of the braking, it was best to let her coast. Yeah, I know, it's not easy for you to understand what a young mind is capable of in the process of making the world a better place to help my fellow human beings. We made it to get those things needed and returned to Avon Park another way. Just as we rounded the curve by the landfill, my eyes started to blur so I pulled over off the road to let it pass and continue with getting Big Nose John safely home and walk home myself. This takes us all the way back before cell phones were ever here and I am carrying a card with the home phone number to call high man in law who issued me this card to be patched after hours if encountered by his deputies, which is what took event as my vision was blurry. Asked me if we were ok and I presented my card, silently thumbing behind me and it was understood but just to see if that card was correct, they don't hesitate to patch through and get schooled.
