[Verse 1] There's many traditions both new and old Adorning the holiday of the Yuletide But the best one of all I think you'll see Is the Yule Goat hiding in the Christmas tree You got the tree, the lights, the ornaments The stocking stuffers and the wrapped presents With one very important highlighted note Don't forget to get your goat [Chorus] He's three foot five with curly hair Two round horns and floppy ears Moves like a reindeer just half the size Black, a button, a beady eyes Chomping down on a bag of oats Here he comes, he's the Yule Goat [Instrumental] [Verse 2] He scares the children in Finland Checks in on the Scandin-avians While the Swedish, they dance and sing with friends Sacrifice him but only in pretend Nowadays around the world you will find A hidden one in that tree of pine Well the traditions have changed but still I quote Don't forget to get your goat [Chorus] He's three foot five, soft curly hair Two round horns and floppy ears Moves like a reindeer just half the size Black, a button, a beady eyes Chomping down on a bag of oats Here he comes, he's the Yule Goat [Instrumental] [Verse 3] Well the holidays are so incomplete Without the little guy who eats the wheat Jot it down, please take a note Don't forget to get your goat So now with our friends by our side To celebrate the advent of this Yuletide Listen now and you will hear Clip-clopping along as he draws near [Chorus] He's three foot five, soft curly hair Two round horns and floppy ears Moves like a reindeer just half the size Black, a button, a beady eyes Chomping down on a bag of oats Here he comes, he's the Yule Goat Chomping down on a bag of oats Here he comes, he's the Yule Goat [Instrumental]
