[Verse 1] If we don't meet on this side of heaven I'll meet you there on the other side We'll walk that road and pick blackberries on the side of the hill like we always said [Pre-Chorus] There are so many things we wanted to do and so many words we never got to say But our busy life just got in the way still, I believe we'll find our day [Chorus] On the other side we'll meet again On the other side my dear old friend We'll take that walk on that beautiful shore Catch up on everything we missed before If we don't meet on this side of heaven We'll meet on the other side and do it then [Verse 2] We will have that picnic under that big oak tree and just catch up on everything we missed Down here on Earth my friend, but we will do it anyway There is still time for us to meet [Pre-Chorus] But if our time should run out I know the road won't end in doubt Your still young at heart and you still have a beautiful soul that shines right through [Chorus] On the other side we'll meet again On the other side my dear old friend We'll take that walk on that beautiful shore Catch up on everything we missed before If we don't meet on this side of heaven We'll meet on the other side and do it then [Bridge] You will always be my friend no matter what comes first Don't ever change or let that go Yah, you're still young at heart and you still have a beautiful soul so, friend, don't let it go [Final Chorus] If we don't meet on this side of heaven I'll meet you there on the other side We'll walk that road and pick blackberries on the side of the hill like we always said We will have that picnic under that big oak tree Catch up on everything we missed down here On the other side we'll meet again On the other side my dear old friend If we don't meet on this side of heaven We'll meet on the other side and do it then
