Only Jesus Reigns (Original Christian Lyrics) Verse 1 Lights flash, world moves fast around me Voices loud but they can’t define me I was lost in the noise and the night Till Your name, Jesus, filled me with light Pre-Chorus Every shadow tries to rise But Your truth opens my eyes No fear when I call Your name Darkness bows — You break the chains Chorus Only Jesus reigns forever No demon stands against His power Cross of love, the victory won Holy Spirit — Kingdom come I’m not fighting on my own Heaven’s fire is my armor Only Jesus, only One Every battle — already won Verse 2 When the storm tries to pull me under Your voice speaks louder than thunder Every lie has to fall away When Your Word is what I say Bridge Name above every name — Jesus Light that shatters the darkness King of Kings, You stand with me I walk in Your authority Final Chorus Only Jesus reigns forever No darkness lasts, no chains remain Lift His name — let heaven hear Jesus Christ, our victory is here Written by Wendi Nutter @ 2026
