(39) Playing Hookie

[Intro – crashing waves + distant pirate shanty + low engine hum of a small transport ship] Yeah… The Fairy-God Mother-Ship was already gone — upgraded, airborne, heading north with the Grinch. A little transport skiff dropped the three of them close to Hook’s island under cover of night. The sea run had officially begun. [Verse 1 – Island Drop & First Infiltration] The skiff cut engines a mile offshore, slipped them into the black water low, Ariel, ReGretel, and Captain Shrink — three misfits with nowhere else to go. They moved through the surf like ghosts on the jagged pirate shore, First real test of the new powers — no room for error anymore. Hansel shrank down tiny, helmet sealed tight, slipped into a drainage pipe, Crawled through filth till he popped out in a bathroom stall, dripping and ripe. Sign on the door read “Davey Jones Locker” in faded, mocking script, He flipped on the X-ray — “Always wondered what was really in it.” [Pre-Chorus] Ariel spun her watch, became a sleek reef shark for a silent scout, Gretel touched a sleeping guard — became him for a minute, no doubt. [Chorus – high-intensity stealth chaos] Playing Hookie on Hook’s island, abilities brand new and raw, Hansel shrinking through vents, X-ray cutting through every law. ReGretel turning faces, causing awkward moments left and right, Ariel flashing forms — shark, eel, orca in the fight. Coke dealers stacking crates of Sugar Fix on the blood-stained docks, Victims twitching in the shadows, eyes hollow like broken clocks. Stealth turned messy when the alarms finally rang, Three misfits crash-coursing powers — the whole island sang. [Verse 2 – Treasure Room, Nautilus Boarding & Nemo Tease] Hansel found the hidden stash behind a false wall in the locker room, A glowing Gill Pack, strange vials, and charts marked “Nautilus — Donka’s underwater doom.” Rumors of a submarine running Sugar Fix routes deep below, Captain Nemo trapped in service — Triton’s advisor, forced to tow the line slow. He grabbed the gear, shrank back small, slipped out the way he came, While outside ReGretel (as a pirate) and Ariel (as a hammerhead) raised hell and flame. A patrol cornered them — Coke thugs with blades and snarling grins, Ariel shifted into a massive eel, wrapped one tight while Gretel slammed the rest in. [Bridge – spoken over comms, adult dark humor] Prince’s voice crackled from the N.S.A. lab, calm but precise, “That Gill Pack you grabbed — modular, easy refit. Slot it in your helmet, Cap, nice. Twist the valve left, seal the sides — you’ll breathe underwater fine.” Hansel laughed, already modding it while hiding behind a crate of wine, “Great. Now I can shrink and still drown at the same time. Perfect timing.” Gretel, back to herself, smirked, “Try not to get stepped on, little man.” [Final Chorus – building defiant energy] Playing Hookie on Hook’s island, turning pirate hideout to ash, Gill Pack fitted, powers stretching, making the Sugar Fix crash. Coke dealers running, victims twitching, empire feeling the sting, Three misfits with new tricks — the sea run’s just beginning. From Hook’s shore to the deep below, where Triton waits under control, The Nautilus is out there somewhere… and the revolution’s ready to roll. [Outro – fading waves + engine hum + determined laugh] Yeah… Hook’s island is burning. The Gill Pack works. The sea run’s begun. And somewhere in the depths… a father needs saving, and an old submarine is waiting to be won.
