The winding trail, we took to church through the valley and by the birch beyond the fields of waving corn its the land where I was born Through the trees, I hear them singing praising God and family the voices shower down from on high I shall not fear, the day I die The little church! Oh little church! by the meadow, by the birch gather the children! lets bring them all! on to the church, we hear God's call... The little church, was built of stone a place to worship and call our own here it will stay, on through the years to take our sorrow and all our fears The many brothers who walked the steps the many elders we put to rest all the happiness that comes our way we thank the Lord, every Sunday The little church! Oh little church! by the meadow, by the birch gather the children! lets bring them all! on to the church, we hear God's call...
