Eyes made of glass, no spark, no flame, Corners turned down, no will, no claim. Frozen streets where no thoughts are free, Every step heavy, no place to be. They carry their days like weight in their hands, Counting their losses like grains in the sand. No laughter stored, No feeling alive, Hearts on standby, Just going along to survive. Soul moved – no forwarding address, No home left, no place to confess. Soul moved – no forwarding address, Full on the inside, but nothing expressed. Soul moved – no forwarding address, Time wears thin, drains what’s left. What will remain When we fade out again? Cold smoke in cafés, cold distant eyes, Coffee goes stale while the slow seconds die. In parks only shadows, silent and still, Movement like duty, no trace of will. They talk about yesterday, guilt and regret, Everything past — but not now, not yet. Hope’s been pawned and courage sold, Paid in pieces, belief grows cold. You hear their voices, But nothing is said, Just worn-out stories Replaying in their head. Soul moved – no forwarding address, No home left, no place to confess. Soul moved – no forwarding address, Full on the inside, but nothing expressed. Soul moved – no forwarding address, Time wears thin, drains what’s left. What will remain When we fade out again? You can shake them, pull them along, They fear the step of moving on. Better the gray that they already know, Better stay numb than let it go. Soul moved – no forwarding address, No laughter, no fight, no purpose left. Soul moved – no forwarding address, Too many thoughts, no depth, no rest. Soul moved – no forwarding address, Maybe they’ll find their way — someday When they see it all just fades away. Do you see them? Maybe… they see you too.
