Chapter 2: Choosing Myself Slide 1 I thought losing you would be the end of me, I thought my heart would never learn to breathe. I held onto memories I couldn’t change, while slowly watching myself fade away. Slide 2 I searched for answers in the things you said, replayed every moment inside my head. I wondered if I was the reason we broke, carrying the weight of every word you spoke. Slide 3 But love was never meant to feel like pain, or make me beg for someone to stay. I shouldn’t have to lose who I am, just to prove I’m worthy of someone’s hands. Slide 4 So I started picking up the pieces inside, the parts of me I left behind. I found my dreams, I found my voice, I learned that choosing me was my choice. Slide 5 Some nights I still miss the way it felt, the memories, the love, the cards I was dealt. But missing you doesn’t mean I’m lost, sometimes healing comes with a cost. Slide 6 Now I’m writing a story you’ll never see, a chapter where I finally choose me.
