Banners in the Blood (Tarja feat. Skaldrix)

Snow on the shield, fire in the vein, Banners awake like wolves on a chain. Iron ridge ringing under our feet, I sing the spark–feel the pressure and heat. Hear it now – the earth below, Hoyrið hana – jørðin gløðir. Hold it fast – hearts like a bow, Raise the banners, beat the ground, Vit reisa merki, slá jørðina. We are the thunder, we are the sound, Vit eru toran, vit eru ljóðið. Stone keeps the oath, river keeps time, ashes fall back as we cut the climb. Voices align, one will, one mind, wheel starts to roar and the night turns kind. Hear it rise – the ground in tune, Hoyrið tað – jørðin syngur. Hold the line – the storm comes soon, Halt um línu – ódnin kemur. Raise the banners, beat the ground, Vit reisa merki, slá jørðina. We are the thunder, we are the sound, Vit eru toran, vit eru ljóðið. If night is a blade, we sing it bright; if fear is a wave, we name the light. Raise the banners, beat the ground, Vit reisa merki, slá jørðina. We are the thunder, we are the sound, Vit eru toran, vit eru ljóðið. Storm in the blood, light in the spears, Stormur í blóði, ljós í spjótum. I stand with you through a thousand years, Eg standi hjá tær í túsund ár. Raise the banners, beat the ground, Vit reisa merki, slá jørðina. We are the thunder, we are the sound, Vit eru toran, vit eru ljóðið.
