The Story Behind the Cup A cup of coffee may take only a few minutes to prepare, but its journey begins long before it reaches the café. At our Farm-to-Cup Coffee Workshop, we explore the story that many people never see. It begins with the soil, climate and farmers caring for each coffee tree. The cherries are harvested, processed and dried before the green beans are sorted, stored and transported. Then comes roasting, where heat develops the coffee’s potential. Finally, grinding and brewing reveal its character in the cup. Every stage influences quality. Every decision matters. Behind every step are skilled hands, knowledge, time and risk. This workshop is not only about tasting coffee. It is about understanding the complete journey and valuing the people who make every cup possible.
