THE VAULT OF PEACE [Intro — Rhodes, Ambient Pads, Close-Mic Vocal] LEAD (whispered): Let the whole world shake... I know where I stand. BACKGROUND (soft five-part harmony): Safe in Your hands... Safe in Your hands... [Verse 1] The headlines keep on screaming, Every street is filled with noise, Everybody's chasing answers, Everybody's raising their voice. But I can feel Your presence Like a shelter in the rain, While the world is losing balance, You are steady all the same. [Pre-Chorus — Bass and Drums Enter] When the ground beneath me trembles, When the night won't let me sleep, I remember who is holding me, And I can breathe. [Chorus — Rich Five-Part Harmony] LEAD: I'm living in the vault of peace, Where the world's chaos can't reach me. ALL FIVE: Can't reach me, can't reach me! LEAD: Though the thunder shakes the ground, Your still small voice is all I hear now. HIGH TENOR: All I hear now... LEAD: No fear can steal what You have sealed, No storm can touch the truth You revealed. ALL FIVE: I'm covered, I'm kept, my soul can breathe, I'm living in the vault of peace. [Verse 2] The storm is raging at my window, And the winds are pulling hard, But my hope is not in circumstances, It's in who You are. I don't need to know the answers, I don't need to see the end, I have found a place of refuge In the faithfulness of my Friend. [Pre-Chorus] Let the nations rage around me, Let the restless waters rise, I have found my firm foundation In the shelter of Your light. [Chorus] I'm living in the vault of peace, Where the world's chaos can't reach me. ALL FIVE: Can't reach me, can't reach me! Though the thunder shakes the ground, Your still small voice is all I hear now. No fear can steal what You have sealed, No storm can touch the truth You revealed. I'm covered, I'm kept, my soul can breathe, I'm living in the vault of peace. [Extended Worship Hook — 82 BPM, G Major] (Gospel organ swells; melodic bass moves beneath the Rhodes.)
