Tamagotchi heart! (pii pii!) Mini screen goes beep-beep: start! (pin-pon!) Digital cake, binary hugs But it poops whenever I show it love (woo woo!) User mode: one-hundred percent Battery low? (zawa zawa!): still content I hold it close (gyu!) the whole night through Plastic pet sings a break-up tune (uru uru) I squeeze it in my hoodie pocket (gyu!) Stamp-stickers, texting rockets You like me more when I tap so fast But you go pancake-flat if I skip the bath Yesterday: bunny-ear hat Today: meow-meow cat-ear hat (nyaa!) I give you a melon-soda dream Then you spew-spew all across my screen (gero gero!) Stomach pain? (kyuu!)  It’s my fault (gomen!) Tooth-brushing time (shaka shaka!)  You glitch again I tap “LOVE” with all my heart But you say “iie…” (ehhh!?) かわいい!!! Tamagotchi heart! (don!) The screen blinks, then falls apart (bashiin!) You say “I’m hungry,” I say “me too” Our feelings match: fu-fuu!
