THE VISUAL LENS [Intro — Rhodes Piano, Close-Mic Lead] I've been staring at the mountain Like it's all I'll ever see Then You whispered through the silence, "There's a bigger view for thee." [Verse 1] I've been measuring my future By the trouble in my hands, Counting every closed door Like I know Your perfect plan. I've been magnifying heartache, Giving fear the final say, Till Your Word became a window And You showed another way. [Pre-Chorus — Harmonies Enter] LEAD: What if what I'm seeing isn't everything? TENOR 2: Isn't everything... LEAD: What if there's a promise underneath? BARITONE: Underneath... LEAD: Lift my eyes beyond the circumstance— ALL FIVE: Let me see it through Your grace! [Chorus — Full R&B Groove] LEAD: Change the lens, Lord, change the way I see! ALL FIVE: Let Your promises come into focus! LEAD: When the world says there's no hope for me— ALL FIVE: You're the God who never broke a promise! LEAD: I won't let the shadows tell me who You are! TENOR HARMONY: You're greater than what I see! ALL FIVE: Turn my eyes toward the faithful heart of God, Let Your truth reveal what's waiting beyond the dark! Change the lens, Lord, change the way I see! [Verse 2] The diagnosis isn't destiny, The valley isn't where I end, The storm can't cancel what You promised, And the broken can still mend. I won't call the silence absence, I won't call the waiting loss, For the God who raised the Savior Still brings beauty from the cross. [Pre-Chorus — Call and Response] LEAD: When my eyes see a wall— TENOR 2: You make a way! LEAD: When my strength starts to fall— BARITONE: Your strength will stay! LEAD: When the facts say impossible— BASS-BARITONE: Your Word remains! ALL FIVE: You are faithful, You are faithful, Yesterday, today, always! [Chorus] LEAD: Change the lens, Lord, change the way I see! ALL FIVE: Let Your promises come into focus! LEAD: When the world says there's no hope for me— ALL FIVE: You're the God who never broke a promise! I won't let the shadows tell me who You are, You're greater than what I see!
