[Verse 1] I met you by the cart Under the grocery sign You had two mango drinks And said, “That one’s mine” You laughed at my old shoes I laughed at your keychain We stood there in the rain Like we had nowhere to be [Pre-Chorus] Spin me once, then twice Don’t make me wait Your hand finds mine And I can’t look away The music’s getting louder The night is getting warm You smile and pull me closer And suddenly we’re gone [Chorus] Parking lot salsa Spin me around Parking lot salsa Feet off the ground Parking lot salsa Right in the middle of town Oh-oh Parking lot salsa Don’t let me down [Verse 2] The ice in your cup Was melting in the heat You said, “I never dance” I said, “Just follow me” A shopping cart rolled past We laughed and let it go Then you turned me around Like you’d done it all before [Pre-Chorus] Spin me once, then twice Don’t make me wait Your hand finds mine And I can’t look away The sky is turning golden The pavement starts to shine You say, “Just one more song” I say, “Stay here tonight” [Chorus] Parking lot salsa Spin me around Parking lot salsa Feet off the ground Parking lot salsa Right in the middle of town Oh-oh Parking lot salsa Don’t let me down [Bridge] One more step Come a little near Forget about tomorrow Just stay with me here No perfect place No perfect plan Just you and me And this crazy little dance [Final Chorus] Parking lot salsa Spin me around Parking lot salsa Feet off the ground Parking lot salsa Right in the middle of town Oh-oh Parking lot salsa Don’t let me down Parking lot salsa One more time around Parking lot salsa Till the lights go down Parking lot salsa We’re still dancing now Oh-oh Parking lot salsa Don’t let me down
