I held them in for far too long, till they started breaking me below. And then you came so quietly, no big words, no grand display. You were simply there beside me— for the first time, I could stay. And everything I feared so much lost its weight with you. You don’t have to fix a thing— just be here… feel it too. Hold me like I matter, like there are no cracks in me. Don’t silence what’s calling from within, just stay here and let me be. I don’t wanna lose myself beside you, I wanna find myself with you. And maybe I still don’t know who I am, but I breathe easier with you. I thought love would take things from you, make you smaller just to stay.
