Verse 1] No nation gets better by complaints Most nations get transformed by citizens who take the challenge We can’t afford to stay idle And hope to become fruitful Problems don’t leave when we shout Solutions come when we speak out Elections give us room to speak And nations who vote right, reach their peak Chorus When we vote right, we will live right When we vote right, we will rise high When we vote right, we will live fine To see our nation change We must be ready to take the blame Citizens who have taken the blame We are not tenants in our own land [Chorus] Verse 2] So let us take our stand By voting people with competency And refuse to fall for those who market ethnicity Character over crowd, capacity over noise We’re building for our daughters and our boys No country can rise above the quality of its leaders That’s why we must vote for people who can take us higher Someone can be popular but lack character Let our vote be louder by voting wiser Verse 3] This is our office, it’s for life Not just for season, not just for strife From low life to peak, we’re moving forward From 3rd world thinking to 1st world records The world is waiting for what we will birth Our ideas, our voices, our value, our worth Verse 4] Think first, then act, then build That’s how a nation’s destiny is fulfilled Don’t sell your future for a bag of rice Don’t trade your children’s tomorrow for a price We are owners, we are builders, we are the light The future answers when we vote right Verse 5 - NEW CLOSER] A hundred days to change the story A hundred days to reclaim our glory One vote, one voice, one nation, one aim Guidance in our minds, fire in our veins When history calls, let it say our name "We stood up, we showed up, we voted for change" Final Chorus] When we vote right, we will live right When we vote right, we will rise high When we vote right, we will live fine To see our nation change We must be ready to take the blame Guided people build guided nations Vote Right.
