Walk The Dream
I wrote Walk The Dream for the long nights between years: a Yule road, a slim bridge, a name said softly. We start almost a cappella, tagelharpa holding the hush, then the cello opens and the chorus blooms. In the bridge I whisper a little Norwegian, like fog lifting off pine. low-key it felt like stepping onto light; high-key I want you to breathe easier with me. thanks for listening with full hearts, lovelies. 💜 ❤꧁ღ⊱♥ Tarja Ravenveil ♥⊱ღ꧂❤ ██▓▒░⡷⠂ 𝙻𝚢𝚛𝚒𝚌𝚜 ⠐⢾░▒▓██ i slept at yule and dreamed a road, a narrow bridge where stars were snow. a river deep, a toll of light- step true or fade into the night. a bell like frost, a hand like flame, it wrote my path and spoke my name. walk the dream, keep the line, hold your heart, the ford is fine. if feet grow weak, let love be guide- name the dawn and cross the tide. three lights danced by the winter fir, one sang mercy, two sang fear. i chose the small, the steady tone, and found the bridge was flesh and bone. the colder wind grew soft and kind, a door of green rose in my mind. walk the dream, keep the line, hold your heart, the ford is fine. embers wake and mornings grow- name the dawn and let it flow. eg såg ein draum i jolnatt- ver vart ljos, og eg gjekk att. walk the dream, keep the line, hold your heart, the ford is fine. out of dark the green will rise- name the dawn… and cross the tide. ██▓▒░⡷⠂Thx 4 listening!⠐⢾░▒▓██
