BJ the ZombieHunter

V6-WILD

North wind combs the spruce trees white, Snow packs every trail, BJ rides out at morning light, With a yield sign raised like mail. Choccy pads beside her boots, A black tail cutting snow, Two brave girls patrol the pines Where winter shadows go. BJ the ZombieHunter, Choccy the Cat, Crossing the drift where the cold winds spat, Yield sign high and whiskers bright, They keep the north safe through the night. Round goes the sleigh-road, three steps wide, Two bold hearts on the winter patrol, BJ and Choccy, fierce and true, The frozen north belongs to you! By the frozen river bend, A groan came through the firs, Choccy flicked her ears ahead, BJ said, “That’s our cue.” She planted that red sign in the snow, And faced the shambling crowd, Choccy gave a fearless yowl, The zombies turned around. At the trading post they warmed their paws, With berry tea and bannock browned, While outside, under northern stars, The pines stood guard without a sound. BJ the ZombieHunter, Choccy the Cat, Striding Home through the snow in a wool-lined hat, Yield sign slung and whiskers bright, They’ll guard the north through to morning light. Round goes the sleigh-road, three steps wide Always on Guard till Spring's first sight Two bold hearts on the winter patrol, BJ and Choccy, brave and true, The frozen north is safe with you!
