[Verse] The clock is ticking but I’m standing still Shoes untied but I climb that hill Got no map but I’m on the move Chasing down that proper groove [Prechorus] Every step’s a little shaky Every turn’s a little crazy But I won’t stop till it’s hazy [Chorus] Proper groove proper groove It’s the only thing I choose Feel the rhythm make me lose Proper groove proper groove [Verse 2] Streetlights flashing like a disco show My shadow dances where the breezes blow Lost my way but I found my vibe This groove’s the only thing keeping me alive [Prechorus] Every twist a little sharper Every beat is getting darker But my heart’s the only marker [Chorus] Proper groove proper groove It’s the only thing I choose Feel the rhythm make me lose Proper groove proper groove
