I've finished chores assigned to me I'm going on a boat in the deep blue sea I'll bring along my fishing pole I've been invited to the fishing hole The wind is up and the tide runs free Away, boys, out to sea! Every day is a day to fish Catch lots of them is my wish Don't worry about me I'll be fishing out to sea I will miss you, I'll be home in awhile I can't wait to see your smile The waves roll in, the sails all fly Gulls are calling from the sky Lines go down, the boat moves slow To the fishing grounds we go The ocean wide as far can be She’s calling out to me! Every day is a day to fish Catch lots of them is my wish Don't worry about me I'll be fishing out to sea I will miss you, I'll be home in awhile I can't wait to see your smile I won't be long, you will see Till we're together, you and me The tide will turn, we'll head for shore Hearts together once more Every day is a day to fish Catch lots of them is my wish Don't worry about me I'll be fishing out to sea I will miss you, I'll be home in awhile I can't wait to see your smile I won't be long, you will see Till we're together, you and me Ho away, the sails fly free Fishing out on the deep blue sea Homeward bound, just wait for me Till we're together… you and me
