Hello, my Derrick! Hello, my Oskar! Hello, my Brian, too! A mechanical caterpillar’s here – it clicks and hums for you! Its metal feet tap out the beat, its gears all spin and whir, To celebrate the date you rate as king of all the year! So grab your cake, make no mistake, the candles burn so bright – Three cheers for you, the birthday crew, from morning until night! (Repeat with a cheerful whistle and a tap-dance if you like)
