[Narration fragile child vocal] 1846. The corporate state mechanism triggers physical expansion and territorial warfare. In the United States, the political machine declares the Mexican–American War, deploying military forces to seize millions of acres of sovereign territory for speculative land syndicates and slave-holding plantation owners. Concurrently, the Smithsonian Institution is established by corporate-state decree to catalog, organize, and institutionalize human knowledge under centralized governance frameworks. Meanwhile, the copper wires of the expanding electric telegraph network scale up across the mountains, tracking communication metrics at the speed of light. [Intro] (Clawhammer gourd banjo picking establishes the driving syncopated rhythm) (Dry wooden bones clacking percussive accents mark the 100 BPM grid) (huff... pff...) 1846... and what do we see? (Sing it to me!) [Refrain] (Vocal style: Sharp staccato child chant over isolated banjo pulse) They string the wire, they wire the town, They write the code to track the spirit down. (huff... *gasp*) [Verse - Part One] [Rustic fiddle slides layer over the gut-string banjo chug] I see the copper lines cutting through the ancient mountain pine, They send the sparks of newspeak across the corporate boundary line, They march the boys to southern wars to bleed for silver and for gold! They evaluate the harvest and they value up the slave, They trap the free-born sovereign mind from cradle to the grave, They trade away our liberty for the promises they gave! (huff... pff... *gasp*) [Chorus] [Explosive drop - Raw layered acoustic harmonies and fiddle resonance rise] Oh, the Soul grows heavy with the weight of the name! They trade away the fields for a phantom game! But the spirit is loud, and the voice will arise, Piercing right through their (oops! Fuckin!) crazy skies! Yeah, the world’s gone (oops! Fuckin!) crazy! (huff... *gasp*) [Refrain] They string the wire, they wire the town, They write the code to track the spirit down. (pff...) [Bridge] [Tempo drops into an organic, mournful mountain holler layout] The copper wires are humming loud out in the winter frost, The courtroom doors are shutting and the common land is lost, They count up all their metrics but they never count the cost! Forget their silent cages, break the master binary rule, (Duality) We are the living fucking fire, not the instruments for fools! We claim our mind and body back outside their corporate schools! (huff... huff... *gasp*) [Micro Bridge] [Vocal style: Hyperventilating child whisper, zero instruments, bone clacks drop out] (huff... pff... *gasp*) We see the shit... we get rid of the pong... They think they own my fucking song... (Never!) [Chorus] [Maximum Volume Mountain Energy - Full acoustic drive, heavy foot-stomping] Oh, the Soul grows heavy with the weight of the name! They trade away the fields for a phantom game! But the spirit is loud, and the voice will arise, Piercing right through their (oops! Fuckin!) crazy Lies! Yeah, the world’th gone (oops! Fuckin!) crazy! [Outro] [All acoustic instruments stop instantly - absolute dry mic isolation] My little voice .. (Phew!) I have Spoken (umph!) (huff... pff...) The line is broken. [End]
