[Verse] I’ve gone through hard times in my life, saw things that make a grown man cry, but It didn’t get the best of me, because I belong to the one who set me free, all my shame and guilt were gone, and now I’m singing you this song, about my Jesus. [Chorus] My Jesus, sent to save the world not to condemn it, My Jesus, a sinners friend who spoke truth to those who listened, My Jesus, who faced death on a cross for all those who were lost, My Jesus, crucified yet rose on the third day, My Jesus, loves all of us accept his salvation and in you he will stay. My Jesus, My Jesus, Oh how I Love Thee My Jesus. [Verse] I felt storms that raged inside of me, I felt his love calm the angry sea, when I had doubt and I felt fear, he gave me peace knowing he was near, when you feel down tired and week. He gives you strength if you only seek, My Jesus [Chorus] My Jesus, sent to save the world not to condemn it, My Jesus, a sinners friend who spoke truth to those who listened, My Jesus, who faced death on a cross for all those who were lost, My Jesus, crucified yet rose on the third day, My Jesus, loves all of us accept his salvation and in you he will stay. My Jesus, My Jesus, Oh how I Love Thee. My Jesus. Help me do your will, reach others through your name, leading them to you, so they can proclaim , My Jesus ! My Jesus, My Jesus, I Love Thee. My Jesus.
