(verse) When my parents passed away, exactly a year apart, the most important item I wanted to inherit, was the family ice cream scooper. (verse) That late 1960s metal scooper, meant more to me than anything, It saw family birthdays, throughout the generations. (chorus) Anytime we had ice cream and cake, Mr. Scooper worked hard to deliver and he did every single time. memories are worth so much to me, from my childhood and beyond.
