Little Festival Imp (Idol Mix)

[Intro] (A delicate music box plays a slow, eerie festival melody: ding ding ding… dong dong dong… Deep taiko drums begin a muffled, distant roll.) Yuki: (hushed whisper) Psst... over here! [Verse 1] Yuki: (rapid, breathless, sneaking around) Lanterns swaying, glowing bright, Music calling through the night! Tiny ears go twitch, twitch, twitch, Can’t stop scratchin' at this itch! Aya: (smooth, mocking, stepping into the light) Cotton candy in the air, Sweet perfume and golden flair— Yuki: Caramel apples! Funnel cake! Every bite is mine to take! [Pre-Chorus] Emi: (warm, gentle, pleading softly) Can’t, can’t, can’t hold back the tide, I’ve been good, I haven’t lied... When the shrine lanterns appear, Forgive this hungry heart this year. [Chorus] All: Hey! Hey! Hey, hey, hey! Yuki: Little festival imp coming through! All: Hup! Hup! Here we go! Aya: Center stage is shining new! Yuki: Noodles? (MINE!) Dumplings? (MINE!) Emi: Catch the goldfish down the line! All: Jump and dance until the blue—can't stop, won't stop, all for you! [Verse 2] Emi: (quiet, melancholic, looking at the crowd) Hiding underneath a painted mask, Playing games nobody had to ask... Nobody sees me standing here, Truth is... I just want someone near. Aya: (punchy, vibrant, cutting through the gloom) Big taiko drums are booming proud! Pounding bassline shakes the crowd! Yuki: I love the rush, I love the sound, Spin me 'til I hit the ground! [Pre-Chorus] Emi: (voice soaring with pure emotion) Can’t, can’t, can’t hold back tonight, Hold my hand beneath the light... Just for now, before it ends, Tell me that we're truly friends. [Chorus] All: Hey! Hey! Hey, hey, hey! Emi: Happy festival imp wants to dance! All: Hup! Hup! Here we go! Aya: Take a hold of second chance! Aya: On the stage? Let’s go dance! Yuki: On the float? Ride the trance! All: Humans make the world go wild—yay! Pure magic like a child! [Bridge] (Taiko rhythms swell into overdrive; heavy 8-bit synthesizer glitches buzz under the groove.) Yuki: Boom bada boom bada! Emi: Boom bada boom bada! Aya: (belting high over the beat) Hey, hey, hey—don’t let the summer end! Emi & Yuki: Stay, stay, stay—be my forever friend! Aya: (ad-lib run) Don't leave us in the dark! All: (shouting) Hey! Hey! Hey, hey, HEY! [Final Chorus] All: Hey! Hey! Hey, hey, hey! Yuki: Little festival imp’s final night! All: Hup! Hup! Here we go! Emi: Holding on with all our might! Aya: Say goodbye? (No, no, no!) Yuki: Time to go? (No, no, no!) Emi & Aya: We’ll be back when summer clears, All: Wait for us through all the tears—promise you’ll remember here! [Outro] (The festival drums abruptly drop out. The lonely music box winds down, echoing faintly into the room.) Aya: (soft, breathy) Goodnight... Emi: (whisper) See you next year... Yuki: (right against the mic) See you soon... ♡ (Tape click. Silence.)
