[Verse] The world we’re living in today, is not the world we knew back when. Peace and love was everywhere and today just mostly sin. You look around at all the people, who have hatred in their hearts, back then we loved unconditionally, nothing could ever tear us apart. [Chorus] Let us go back to greater times, when we let Christ into our lives, better days can be ahead lose the anger and instead, Love each other, Love your sister and brother, Love your mom and dad, love your Heavenly Father in whom we have, better days , yes better days, so better days, we all can have. [Verse 2] We are all consumed with are own ways, but we were not selfish back in those days, we all knew how to get along, but today it’s about who’s wrong. To take out Christ and turn from him, has torn this country from limb to limb, let us go back to Gods ways, we must go back to better days. [Chorus] Let us go back to greater times, when we let Christ into our lives, better days can be ahead lose the anger and instead, Love each other, Love your sister and brother, Love your mom and dad, love your Heavenly Father in whom we have, better days , yes better days, so better days, we all can have. [Bridge] Stop fighting on all sides, get rid of all that pride. We can all still be hand in hand, Acknowledge Christ in all his ways, let him take us back to better days, let’s all go back to better days . [Modulated Chorus] Let us go back to greater times, when we let Christ into our lives, better days can be ahead lose the anger and instead, Love each other, Love your sister and brother, Love your mom and dad, love your Heavenly Father, in whom we have, better days, yes better days, so better days we all can have, better days, oh better days we can all have, with Christ in us, we can all have, better days.
