Big words falling from a stage, borrowed fire, rented rage. They want a face to point and blame, someone tall to take the flame. Wave a flag, declare a war — same old script we’ve seen before. Someone to follow. Someone to shout. Someone to tell them what it’s about. Everybody wants a leader, someone bigger than the room. Someone louder, someone cleaner, promise change and bring it soon. I don’t stand above the crowd, I don’t scream it out in sound — I prefer a quieter way to lead, just pulling gently at the thread. There are kings in rented suits, selling hope from golden seats. There are rebels with a brand, fists raised high on command. Small-town heroes, local gods, talking odds while everybody nods. Every circle has a throne, even if it’s carved in stone. They want direction. They want a sign. They want a future drawn in a line. Everybody wants a leader, someone bigger than the room. Someone louder, someone cleaner, promise change — and bring it soon. I don’t stand above the crowd, I don’t scream it out in sound — I don’t need the crown or creed, just pulling gently at the thread. Maybe we follow so we don’t have to choose. Maybe we kneel so we don’t have to lose. Maybe the loud ones aren’t that strong — maybe we knew it all along. Everybody is a leader in the circles that run deep. In the silence of a whisper, in the promises we keep. I don’t need to own the crowd, don’t need thunder, don’t need to be loud — I’m a quiet kind of leader, who won’t beat the drums — but changes how it hums. No spotlight. No parade. Just watching. Unafraid.
