Rosie September 1 2026 ,Verse I was sippin’ on a Michelob Ultra, watchin’ silver dollars fall, At an old silver dollar coin machine in a dive called Circus Circus is up on the north end of that bright Las Vegas Strip, I’d been there for a couple hours, with Lady Luck on my hip. Verse 2 Then something warm, firm, and soft came resting on my shoulders lightly, I turned around and saw an angel underneath those neon lights. She smiled and said, “My name is Rosie, I’ll take good care of you Tonight” I just sat there speechless, I didn’t know what else to do, so I took a long pull on my beer. She said, “You not worry,, I'm in know hurry, untill you’re ready, that’s all right. I’ll take good care of you, just enjoy your lucky night.” I simply nodded with a grin and turned back to my machine, Still wondering how an angel somehow knew my name. Chorus She said, “You not worry, , I’m in no hurry, take your time tonight. When you’re good and ready, everything’ll be all right.” I laughed and shook my head, said, “That just wouldn’t fly.” She smiled and softly whispered, “You not worry, me not tell wifey.” Verse 3 About an hour later, there she was once again, Smiling like she’d known me forever,, more than just a friend. She rested on my shoulders and said, “I’m still waiting here. Whenever you are ready, darling, we will disappear.” I finally found the words to say, “My wife would not approve.” She covered up her little laugh and never missed a groove. She leaned down very close to me, beneath those bright Las Vegas lights with those inviting eyes, And whispered, “You not worry, me not tell wifey.” Bridge Well, my jackpot kept on ringing, my Michelob Ultra stayed cold. Some stories that happen in Vegas are better left untold. I tipped my hat to Rosie and smiled as I walked away. Some memories are worth a song that’ll live another day. Final Chorus She said, “You not Worry, I’m in no hurry, take your time tonight. When you’re good and ready, everything’ll be all right.” I smiled and raised my bottle to those neon desert skies. She laughed and softly whispered, “You not worry, me not tell wifey.” Outro Now every time I hear a lead guitar,, or see those neon lights, I remember that old dive, Circus Circus,, and one unforgettable night. The silver dollars quit falling, but the story never died— Just Rosie with a little grin saying, “You not worry, me not tell wifey.”
