In a humble home, where hardships pressed, Lived Chloe, a girl who dared her best. Her family’s coffers, sadly bare, Left no gifts for Christmas—nothing there. But Chloe, with mischievous gleam, Decided to chase a Christmas dream. One snowy night, when all was still, She slipped outside with secret will. To the mall, she crept with stealth, A daring plan, her heart’s own wealth. Amongst the displays, so bright and grand, She spotted a unicorn—ugly and unplanned. A creature crooked, eyes askew, But to Chloe, it was perfect, true. She snatched the beast with a grin so wide, Thinking, This gift, I’ll keep with pride! Back home she tiptoed, silent, sly, A victorious grin, no need to lie. She hid her treasure, her secret prize, And woke the next morning with sparkling eyes. Her family awoke to a strange new sight— A unicorn, a gift of pure delight. Oh, Chloe! they cheered, their hearts anew, For even in hardship, she knew what to do. She carved a smile from her daring deed, And in her heart, she felt succeed— A Christmas miracle, born of wit, With courage and a little bit of grit. And from that day, she held her head high, A girl who dared, and reached the sky. For sometimes, in the darkest night, You find your joy in doing right.
