Mamma said they grow to fast, she was not wrong i went from daddy's little girl to graduating high school, life flies in a blink of an eye, i went from playing in the yard to my first car, they say stay young but no one prepares you for life changes i went from 0-18 fast and, it is scary but it is life i lost some people but got more people,they say don’t rush but don’t tell you sometimes you have to rush growing up does not wait for you to be ready, it hits u like a brick no one says you will struggle or go through heartbreak a lot, but they always said don’t grow to fast, enjoy 17 i went from first steps to first job then first boyfriend, to first date, they say life sucks sometimes but you know it will get easier, i had happy days and sad days but i grew and grew then i found me and who i wanna be a nurse helping people, and i will i wanna help the ones who can’t help themselves, babies bc they deserve a life where theirs just began, mom said can’t save them all but i will try, mama said live life so i did, and i will, dad and all my elders said when you know you know and i did not know what they mean but i found out it is a sence of calm and love where you work together not apart, i argued with my dad and step mom but in the end all my loved ones helped me get where i am they push me to my limites with bribes (haha) but i have never been more thankful to have found my faith in God, today i speak my truth no matter what you say and do change is hard but goodbyes are harder, but in the end no goodbye is really a goodbye to go from mammas baby to making her proud with the work i do, so to everyone i think you for shaping who i am today.
