Pray For America (Remastered x2)

[Verse] I can still remember when they took prayer out of school . I was just a boy back then in 1962. Things began to change real fast the world was not the same. People no longer lived by faith or the power of Jesus name. [Chorus] We need to pray for America. God once shed His grace on thee. We need to pray for America, May God save the home of the brave and the free. [Verse 2] Broken families walk the streets no one really cares. Darkness falls upon their hearts and all we do is stare. Can’t you feel their hurt inside, can’t you feel their pain. It’s just another day in paradise, playin the same old games. [Chorus] We need to pray for America. God once shed His grace on thee. We need to pray for America, I guess it’s gonna have to start with me. [Verse 3 Modulate a Major up] (With Choir) We don’t need to turn our backs, it’s time to get on our knees. Jesus heard our broken hearts, Jesus knows and sees . We’re killing babies by the hour, their blood is on our hands. May God forgive our sinful ways, May God save our land. [Chorus] (With Choir) We need to pray for America. God once shed His grace on thee. We need to pray for America, May God save the home of the brave and the free. May God save the home of the brave and the free. May God save the home of the brave and the free.
