The rivers choke on what we've thrown away. Glass towers rise where the wild once sang. Smoke and steel replace the land. Eyes above, they burn and wail. Tears that fall, sharp as nails. Angels cry nails, Piercing the ground! For every lost tree, Every life drowned. Their wings turn black From the sins we sow. (WHAT HAVE WE DONE?) Do we even know? Mountains crumble under greed’s command. The oceans scream, a hollowed land. Fields of ash where flowers bloomed. Life erased, a world entombed. Silent prayers can’t undo the scars. The heavens weep for what we are. Angels cry nails, Piercing the ground! For every lost tree, Every life drowned. Their wings turn black From the sins we sow. (WHAT HAVE WE DONE?) Do we even know? The Earth once thrived with forests green. Now it's scarred by what we've seen. Can we repent, or is it too late? To unchain the world from a man-made fate? Angels cry nails, Piercing the ground! As the Earth splits wide, With flames of wrath, No place to hide! Their wings are broken, Their light turns grey, Humanity falls as they turn away! Their grief resounds in the hollow sky, A warning to us.. Do not let it die!
