The Last Sunrise

Before the dawn has found its name, The silent hills are clothed in flame. A golden breath, so soft, so bright, Awakens hearts with borrowed light. We lift our eyes, we stand as one, To greet the last and rising sun. Though every morning promised more, Now time has reached its final shore. Yet fear shall fade like morning dew, For every ending births the new. This is the last sunrise we see, Yet hope still sings eternally. The sky may close, the stars may fall, But love outlives the end of all. Verse II (Women first, Men echo) Every shadow learned to dance, Every soul was given chance. Given chance... given grace... Every heart has found its place. The rivers carry every name, The winds remember all the same. No voice is lost, no tear undone; They shine within the morning sun. Bridge (Quiet, layered entries) When darkness calls... ...we answer still... ...with steady hearts... ...and quiet will... For if this dawn should be the last, We'll bless the future and the past. We'll leave our songs upon the air, So every silence finds us there. Rise, O light beyond our sight, Carry every soul to bright. Though this sun shall climb no more, Love will reach another shore. Sing until the heavens glow, Sing of all we've come to know. Hand in hand, our voices rise, Higher than the morning skies. This is not the end we fear, For every heart is gathered here. The last sunrise becomes our song, And in that song, we all belong. One last dawn... One last flame... Call us gently... By our name. Then let silence bloom in peace, Where every sorrow finds release. The light remains, though day is done... Forever... One.
