Pocketful of Dandelions (TOP) v11

[Verse 1] Found a crumpled note in my coat Three words and a ticket stub Your name in the corner Like a secret in the mud I wore old sneakers to the store Bought peaches and a paper cup The sky was doing that pink thing And I couldn’t get enough [Pre-Chorus] So I kept it Folded tight Like a match in my palm Like a sign tonight [Chorus] Pocketful of dandelions Pocketful of dandelions Make a wish and let it fly Pocketful of dandelions [Verse 2] Back fence leaning in the heat Garden hose asleep in loops Kids drew moons on the sidewalk With a piece of broken chalk Your laugh hit me from nowhere Through the screen door, through the flock Of sparrows picking at the crumbs On the edge of the walk [Pre-Chorus] [Begin Building the Dynamics before the next chorus, leading into an awesome guitar solo] So I kept it Folded tight Like a match in my palm Like a sign tonight [More Powerful Chorus] Pocketful of dandelions Pocketful of dandelions Make a wish and let it fly Pocketful of dandelions [1 minute Lead Guitar Solo That Melts Our Faces] [Bridge] If the day goes sideways If the sky goes thin I’ll shake out the little wild things And start again [Powerful Chorus] Pocketful of dandelions Pocketful of dandelions Make a wish and let it fly Pocketful of dandelions [Outro Where an ad-lib choir like chorus chanted in an question answer format| cut the time signature in have while winding down] One for the road One for the road Little gold ghosts In my coat
