Every cup begins with a flower. After pollination, the flower becomes a small green coffee cherry. As the fruit matures, its colour and chemical composition change—from green through yellow and orange to ripe red. Ripeness matters because it influences the potential for sweetness, acidity and consistency. After harvesting, the cherries are processed to separate the seeds inside. The seeds are dried, rested, hulled and sorted into green coffee. Roasting then transforms those seeds, developing colour, aroma and flavour. Finally, grinding prepares the coffee for extraction. From flower to fruit, seed to cup, every stage matters—and every hand helps protect its potential. Respect the bean. Respect the hands.
