[Verse 1] Let no one despise you for your youth Set the believers an example in speech and in truth In conduct, in love in faith, in purity I’ve been taught by hands that came to faithfully carry me [Pre-Chorus] But You are moving in the younger ones And I’m not just giving I’m also being won Open my eyes wide for what You’re showing me [Chorus] Give me eyes to see Give me eyes to see What younger believers can teach me about You Help me to believe Help me to believe They remind me of who You are when they trust You through [Verse 2] A little word of kindness a simple prayer A pure and steady joy that meets You there I thought I was pouring out like water from a jar But You were meeting me right where their wonder are [Pre-Chorus] And every open smile and every holy yes Is showing me Your kindness Your patience, and Your grace Open my eyes wide for what You’re showing me [Chorus] Give me eyes to see Give me eyes to see What younger believers can teach me about You Help me to believe Help me to believe They remind me of who You are when they trust You through [Bridge] Use them right now in their youth To teach my heart to follow truth If they know You let me know What they carry help me grow [Final Chorus] Give me eyes to see Give me eyes to see What younger believers can teach me about You Help me to believe Help me to believe They remind me of who You are when they trust You through Teach me to receive Teach me to receive The grace You show through younger hearts and the life they breathe
