Friday on Full Send

FRIDAY ON FULL SEND [Verse 1] Five o’clock hits and the week gets buried, Keys in the ignition, whole crew already ready. Good marijuana tucked up in the console, First one sparked before we ever hit the backroad. That same old truck got a rattle in the front, But she’s made it this far, so we’re sending her once. Poles in the bed, firewood stacked high, Friday finally showed up, now we own the night. [Pre-Chorus] Field wide open, speakers turned mean, Smoke in the air and mud on the jeans. Somebody laughs, “That hole ain’t deep,” That’s usually right before we bury it knee-deep. [Chorus] Friday on full send, turn the whole thing loose, Good marijuana making circles through the crew. Bonfire climbing till it lights the black sky, Bass rolling heavy while the sparks fly high. Mud on the doors, fishing lines out, Friends getting loud with no reason to calm down. Country life we know, but we make it hit harder, Then drag that same damn truck home and tear it apart tomorrow. [Verse 2] Sun came up with a hook in the water, Stayed there all day and the stories got taller. One friend swears they had the biggest one hooked, Nobody believes ’em, but damn, it sounds good. By sunset the playlist’s shaking the field, Tires throwing dirt like they got something to prove. Then the engine starts ticking — there’s that sound again, Everybody just looks at each other and grins. [Bridge / Rap] Yeah, we know this routine too damn well, Truck runs good till we give it pure hell. Back to the garage, hood up late, Sockets on the floor and parts by the crate. One friend wrenching, one holding the light, One rolling green while we argue what’s right. Fix it, fire it, hear that motor come alive— Then next Friday night, we’ll probably break it one more time. [Final Chorus] Friday on full send, let the whole night breathe, Smoke rolling slow through the tops of the trees. Bonfire burning like a flare in the dark, Music echoing out where the open fields start. Fishing with the friends who stay till the end, Mud-covered trucks and a weekend to spend. It ain’t polished, quiet, or built to look pretty— It’s loud, dirty living with the people riding with me. [Outro] Work week gone. Fire up. Roll one. Turn it up. Fish all day. Mud all night. Break that truck— Fix it by daylight.
